Vanessa Dewey serves as J Smegal's Office Administrative Specialist, bringing years of experience in office management and accounting to the team. Prior to joining J Smegal, she managed her family's furniture business until her father's retirement in 2022 and also worked in Accounts Payable at Berkshire Bank. Her strong organizational skills and attention to detail help keep the day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Vanessa was drawn to J Smegal because she enjoys the close-knit atmosphere of a smaller business. After working in larger corporate environments, she was excited to return to a workplace where teamwork, collaboration, and personal connections are at the heart of the company. She looks forward to growing with the organization and contributing to its continued success.

Outside of the office, Vanessa enjoys playing video games, spending time with her Mini Schnauzer, Izzy, being with family, shopping, and trying new experiences. Her positive attitude, dedication, and commitment to supporting both customers and the team make her an important part of the J Smegal family.
